Introduction to the Centre

Poornaprajna Centre for Popularization of Science & Technology (PCPST) is started by the direction of the President of “Udupi Sri Adamaru Mutt Education Centre” (USAMEC), Bangalore, His Holiness Shri Shri Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji of Adamaru Mutt. The Centre is devoted to the popularization of Science & Technology Education. For this purpose, the Centre conducts various programs in the form of popular Lecture Series, Science Foundation Examination, Science & Technology Trainings, News Letters/Magazines, etc. for the students and teachers at high school levels

District level Science Quiz at Poornaprajna College Udupi

The Poornaprajna Institute of Management Udupi, under Poornaprajna Centre for Popularization of Science and Technology successfully hosted a “District-Level Science and Tech Quiz 2025” Competition aimed at fostering intellectual engagement and academic enthusiasm among 10th standard students across various Schools in the Udupi district. The event took place on Poornaprajna campus and saw participation from over 11 Schools out of 30, where initial round School Level Quiz competition were held in the month of Feb-March 2025 with the collaboration of Education Department.

The quiz comprised of 2 dynamic rounds — Preliminary Written Test and the Rapid-Fire Round — covering topics of Science and Technology.

Final Winners of the competition are:

First winning team received Cash prizes of 10K, Second winning team received Cash prizes of 7K, Third winning team received Cash prizes of 5K, and Winning Certificates along with and all participants were acknowledged with certificates of participation.

Through such competitions, Poornaprajna Institute of Management continues to encourage a holistic learning environment, preparing students not only for academic success but also for real-world challenges.
