The Poornaprajna Centre for Popularization of Science & Technology is a pioneering initiative by Poornaprajna College to spark interest and engagement in science and technology among high school students, educators, and the wider community. Purpose and Objectives
Purpose
The purpose of the Poornaprajna Centre for Popularization of Science & Technology is to foster a deep interest and enthusiasm for science and technology among high school students and educators in the district. By organizing a wide range of engaging programs such as guest lectures, demonstrations, exhibitions, expos, and teacher workshops, the centre aims to make science and technology accessible, enjoyable, and relevant to the everyday lives of young learners. It seeks to build a strong foundation in scientific thinking, promote innovation, and encourage students to explore careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. Additionally, the centre will serve as a hub for teacher development, encouraging excellence in science education and fostering a vibrant learning ecosystem.
